Lunar Eclipse

Did anyone wake up at 4:51 a.m. this morning to see the lunar eclipse? Well, even though I could barely open my eyes, I assembled my camera and headed outside to fight mosquitoes. lol! :) Enjoy, because my blood was sucked out (multiple times) for this shot!! :)

Cartoon Michelle! :)

This is me as a cartoon! "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!" <-- That's what Moises said when he saw it- LOL!! :) He said it looked just like me so I guess I did a good job! Too funny! I figured if he laughed then maybe you would too! I drew this with my Tablet PC by WACOM (thanks DAD!!). Enjoy! (haha)

Fish Eagle

This fish eagle was enjoying his freshly caught dinner. They're such magnificent creatures! In the last 2 pictures you can see how he ruffled his feathers and gave us (Moises and I) a stare as if to say, "Must you watch me eat & take pictures??" ha :)

Critters

One thing to know about me is.... I love critters- all kinds! :) They fascinate me with their intricacies & individual uniqueness. Many of you can relate & then there are those of you who are probably like, “eeew!” haha :)  I’m not an expert on them by any means, but they capture my attention none the less. This explains why I find this toad so interesting. I saw him struggling to get out of this little kiddy pool in our backyard and so I decided to help him. Yesterday that same thing happened. I noticed it when I glanced out the back sliding glass doors. I helped him out and he simply hopped away without as much as a thank you. Today however, before helping him out, I grabbed my camera and got some close-ups of him. He didn’t seem to mind. So there you go. My short story of the toad I helped (twice!). :)

Back from PR!

We just arrived last night from Puerto Rico where we photographed Jossuel & Yamileth's wedding! They were a lovely couple to photograph and we had such a great time. The island was far beyond beautiful & believe me, we enjoyed every minute of it! :) I especially loved the rainforests (where we shot the engagement session), with all the lush green mountainsides & the songs of the coquí's. It was paradise. I actually dreaded coming back home- lol! :)
