Sweet Corn Festival

Taken a few Saturdays ago at the annual Sweet Corn Festival in West Palm Beach.
Aricin and Nikos had a wonderful time, especially since they both love popcorn and they had some delicious popcorn there!! I'm not real big on popcorn but I sure did enjoy their popcorn. And I would've taken pics of us enjoying the popcorn but, umm, I was too busy enjoying the popcorn! :)

Our new puppy!

Saturday evening we bought a new puppy.. a Harlequin Great Dane and we named him Blu. In the pics below you can see why we did. He has one blue eye :)
Blu is very playful and the boys love him.. and of course, we adults do too! We have been wanting to buy a dog for the boys for a very long time but didn't feel it was time yet, until now. Great Dane's are a breed Moises and I love.. "gentle giants" is what they are referred to as which suits them perfectly IMO :) We love that they are just enormous!, loyal, and excellent with children. So when deciding on which breed of dog to buy for our family, the Great Dane won with flying colors! :)

We look forward to Blu growing up with the boys!

A maternity session..

My beautiful sister-in-law is having her 5th child! So we got together for some photos :) She's due in about 3 weeks. We're all very excited! And just like me, she didn't find out the sex of the baby so we are all anxious to see if our new family member will be a little boy or girl!! :)

After an hour and a half, 3 dirty diapers, spit-up, getting peed on, a bath, & 2 feedings, I finally got some decent photos of Desi!! :) Whew! ;)

I have just been enjoying every single day with my new little boy. Aricin and Nikos' reactions toward him are quite comical.. The questions they ask are "Why are we taking the baby everywhere we go?" "What are we going to do with him when he gets bigger?" "We're going to keep him forever?!" They refer to him as "the baby" and haven't yet grasped the concept that Desi is their new brother. But he's quickly growing on them. :)

12 days old...

I can't believe Desi is already 12 days old. Already I feel as if time is going by way too quickly. I love holding him.. I hold him just about all day long.. I just don't want to miss anything... :)
