Stormy summer afternoons

I captured this scene driving home yesterday. The sky was so dramatic, and my camera was sitting right next to me, I just had to pull over! My kids asked, "Mami, que tu hace??" (translation: "Mom, what are you doing??") And I just told them I wanted to capture the sky. Then they were like, "Oh."

Many times, it's the simple things in life that bring that certain smile on your face. For me, this time, it was this cup I found. It made me happy just looking at it. Perhaps because it's yellow; nice & bright & cheerful. I just had to get it! :) And every morning, with it filled of Chai tea, I curl up in my chair and enjoy the quite mornings.
(Well, as quiet as a house with two toddler boys can possibly get!!)

A guest...

I took this photograph of a guest at Tim & Jess's wedding.. She was pregnant and I thought she looked so pretty sitting in that chair with her hand on her belly. I asked her if I could take a picture of her (I hope she didn't think I was crazy!) and she said yes so I did. And this is it :) I love the way it came out.

These are a few of my fav's from Tim & Jessica's wedding late last month. They had a beautiful wedding on the beach of the Jupiter Resort. We met them back in August of last year and they've become so special to us as we've seen them anxiously wait for their day to draw nearer and nearer. It was our pleasure to share this special day with them and we wish them the best for years to come! Alright now on to the images! :)

I just found out by way of Google-ing that Canal Point, where I live, has a population of 550! Ahhh, the simple & quiet life :) So if you're ever coming through here, don't blink or you'll miss it :)

Moose

I am currently dogsitting a bull mastiff named Moose who's only 15 months old. He'll be in my care until Wednesday. He is just the cutest thing! I had to take pictures of him of course :) I tried to take some with him but every time I put my head next to his for our close-up, he'd slobber all over me with 'kisses', lol :)








Nikos tried to take a picture with him but got kisses instead :)

Hello :)

Hi Everyone! I hope everyone is having a lovely Monday... although many dread Mondays :) I just heard on the t.v. that there's warnings issued due to a pretty big storm in the area producing tornadoes, hail, and high speed winds, so I hope those that are driving to and fro are extra careful. And I'm going to make me some tea, pull back my curtains, and enjoy the storm from inside my home :)
