Disturbing the nest

Well, my father-in-law stopped watering a hanging fern plant because an expecting mother pigeon created a nest in it. The leaves have all died and now it's just a hanging dead plant. However, there is a beautiful little family of pigeons living in it. Today, I attempted to photograph them. I kept getting closer and closer until I unfortunately scared them all away. I felt so horrible! What had I done? I forced 2 baby pigeons to fly into the unknown before all of their feathers had grown in! My only comfort is that they flew pretty good! I just pray that the mommy pigeon will have the ability to lead her babies back home.

This little girl was having so much fun at this mini water park that when her parents called, she ran from them! :o)

Hi everyone!!! This is my very first blog post & so I will test it out with a few random pics... Hmmmm... I don't know what else to say except that I'm not very good at writing captions for photos (ha!) sooo is it ok if I just post pictures? ;) ..Maybe I'll write a little bit here and there :)
